Upgrading to Annual Pass?

Hi-
We currently have a Park Hopper Pass and we're wondering where we can upgrade it to an annual pass. Can we do that at check-in (At BWI)? Any help would be great.

You can upgrade PHP's to an AP...but it must be done at one of the parks ticket areas. You can not do it at the resorts...from what a CM told me anyway.

I was also told that you can only upgrade the passes for FULL VALUE within the first 7 DAYS of the first time the pass is used.

We did this in April when I went on a trip with my 4 younger kids & the grandparents...my oldest 2 were on a band trip to perform in WDW...I wasn't going to miss that. My DH did miss it & went fishing in CAnada...I upgraded our passes as I figured he would REALLY miss it when we got home & showed him pictures! He did...thus my Mother's day present!

Upgrading is worth the money if you feel you are goin to take another trip within a year!

Just a few things to add to Poohlover's comments...

Upgrading can be done at Guest Relations only. Don't go to a ticket booth, cause they can't do it. There is a Guest Relations area at each of the 4 parks, and 2 at Downtown Disney. (The Downtown Disney ones are located across from Pin Traders, in the Marketplace, and the other is located across from the bridge to Pleasure Island on the West Side)

If your pass is unused, you will get a credit in the amount that Disney was paid for the ticket. (So if you got your ticket from a discount broker, you'll get what your broker paid Disney - not what you paid your broker - so you won't get back any markup your broker charged)

And you can get the same credit described above within the first seven days of use, but in this scenario, if your pass has any plus options, and you've used any of them, you will only be allowed to upgrade to a premium annual pass.
