Upgrading to a Platinum plus AP

Hello everyone I am considering upgrading my 6 day park hopper tickets to the platinum plus AP when I'm there since it appears it would save money over buying the the 6 day hoppers and memory make-particularly when you add in the discounts. Infact when I compare the cost of 6 day hoppers to the platinum plus AP it seems like it woulndt cost me anything extra do upgrade and I would be able to visit water parks too.

Forgive my ignorance, am I crunching the numbers right? I booked a package that includes the 6 day hoppers so I can't be sure of what I actually am paying for the tickets but it it my understanding that WDW price bridges and gives you full price of your tickets towards AP upgrades and what it on the website about the cost of 6 day hoppers and the cost of platinum plus AP's is showing that they are nearly the same cost. I feel almost like I must be confused or missing something. It feels like it couldn't possibly be cheaper to buy an AP without blackout dates that includes photo downloads and water parks. I am all about making my dollars go the distance so does would this actually save money-or am I missing something? It sure wouldnt be the first time I was missing something

2.& 3. Looks like you have the wrong numbers.
A Platinum Plus AP (with WPF&M) and including Memory Maker costs $882.89 (including tax)
A difference of $226.89.
So, if you were to upgrade from then 6-day Hopper to the Platinum Plus AP, it would cost $226.89
4. It doesn't matter what you are paying for the 6-day package tickets.

It would be VERY unusual for a 6-day ticket of any kind to be about the same price as an AP.

When I followed your link back I realized why the numbers I was seeing where different. When I first looked at it I was looking at the price of 2 tickets. It was auto filling in the number of tickets based on my previous searches. I was comparing the cost of 2- 6 day tickets to 1 platinum plus AP.
