upgrading tix ?

Ok, I bought 1 day tix with our package, thinking we would use our no exp fom last year, but now I think I want to save those and upgrade our 1 days, however, I'm trying to do the math and I don't know if I should take the # of days that I want (6 day base) and subtract the old 1 day amount because we bought before the increase, or subtract the new 1 day ticket amount...and the difference would be what I have to pay...I think, anyone know??

Do the upgrade after you enter a park (at Guest Relations) and you will get credit for the Current Gate Price of the ticket, no matter how much you paid for it.

Thanks, I read it, but I'm still a little confused, if I wait and use my 1 day to get into MK, when I go to upgrade it at MK, won't it be void, as it is a 1 day, and had been used? Also, what is all that intermediate stuff about, would that pertain to me? Aside from all that, I would only have to pay the difference between the -6day- and the new 1 day gate price? Is that correct? I just worry about "using" the 1 day and then it not being valid or expired, sorry if this is just me not "getting" it Thank you

The ticket being all used up doesn't matter. You have 14 days to do the upgrade. Disney does not want to discourage people from attending longer, adding on to their trip.
