I have some 7 day Tickets that we bought last year (never used) and I would like to upgrade them to an annual passes. We would like to make a trip the last of July and then again in June 2011. I think this would be the best option in order to not have to buy tickets again next year. Can someone tell me how to do it? And approximately the costs involved. We paid $99 for the tickets.

You can either go to the ticket windows or Guest Services inside the park. GS should be less crowded. You would get a $99.00 credit towards the AP cost which for non-residents is $229.99...so that would be $130.99 per AP...plus tax of course. Supposedly...non-resident Power Passes are sold at the gate but not online. The cost of the Power Pass is $139.99 but does not include any discounts and has blackout dates. Only one person would need the Preferred AP for the discounts and free parking if you're staying offsite.

Does that help?

Yes it does. I can upgrade to the power pass and/or the annual pass that has more discounts and free parking and get credit for the $99 I paid for the pass. Thanks so much!!!!

I went back to look at the annual passes and realized that this option is only available to Florida Residents? No annual passes for anyone else? We live 10 miles into Georgia. That's a shame!!!

Thanks for the link. So does that mean the PowerPass isn't available for non-residents or it's not available online to non-residents. I searched the forums last night after I posted and I didn't see a definite answer. Thanks for all your help!!!!!

Supposedly...you can purchase the Power Pass at the gate but not online. You can only purchase the PP online if you're a FL resident.

I did the exact same thing just a few weeks ago (May 6th). I had ordered the $99.00 seven day two park tickets online and printed off the voucher. When I got there I went to the ticket agent and told her I wanted to upgrade it to a Preferred Annual Pass. I just checked my receipt. It cost me $136.30.
