Upgrading Tickets

If I package is purchased including Magic Your Way Tickets and Resort Stay and then I need to upgrade to an annual pass, can that be done? How and when? Can someone please give me some details?

I was able to do this last year, but I have no idea if the rules have changed since then! Anyway, I just took my room key to Guest Services outside of Magic Kingdom and they took care of it. They credit the amount you paid for tickets against the cost of the annual pass. In my case, it was a one-day ticket, so I got something like $60 credited toward the pass. I'm sure you can do this at any of the parks (however the resort (All-Stars) could NOT do this). I hope it works out for you!

This upgrade has to be done at the Park or Downtown Disney Guest Relations locations. This cannot be done at any of the resorts ( different systems, MYW tickets cross to both systems, but annual passes are only on the Park systems ).

They'll be able to upgrade your MYW tickets towards your annual pass, but the annual pass will expire one year from the date you first used your MYW tickets if you use them before the upgrade. You can do this anytime within 14 days of the first use of your MYW tickets.
