Upgrading Tickets Upon Arrival (4/3 deal)

Hi! We just booked a girls trip for this summer. I have an AP, but my mom and sister do not. We'll be sharing a room and, since we all had to be on the same package, we booked with a 1-day base ticket for each of us. I was told that my mom and sister could just upgrade their MYW tickets when they check in. My question (to 3 different CMs now) is whether or not they will still receive the 3 free days worth of tickets when they do this since it will be past March 29. In essence, I think it's only like a $9 difference between a 4 day and a 7 day ticket, so it's really not a BIG deal, but I don't know why we can't get a definite answer. Everyone we've asked says they 'think' so, but they're not sure. Has anyone tried this?

I'm not 100% sure but I think they will be charged the full price to upgrade when they're there. I think the tickets need to be booked with the package by March 29th in order to get the free days.

That's what I was unsure about. We have booked 'the package,' but just did 1 day tickets instead of the 4 day ones. Therefore, we'd qualify to upgrade and get the 3 days free, right? I guess it's really not a big deal. If they end up paying for 7 days instead of 4 days + 3 free it's only $9 more per person. I was just curious! Thanks

If I'm understanding you right......Yes....you would able to upgrade from the 1 day to the 4 day + 3 days free on or before March 29th. Otherwise, if you wait to upgrade once you get there, you wouldn't get the 3 days free and you would pay the $9 difference per ticket.
