Upgrading tickets to annual passes

I was gifted the 3 park unlimited pass and was wondering if it is possible to upgrade that ticket to an annual pass (paying the difference, of course). Has anyone done this?

It used to be that the 3 park was not upgradable since it included Wet 'n Wild which was not owned by Universal. Since it is now owned by Universal, I assume it is now. You should probably contact guest services to double check.

Just wondering if you ever found an answer to this? I have just purchased 3 Park unlimited tickets and would like to be able to upgrade one of them to an AP *IF* an AP discount becomes available for PBH. I would be OK with losing the Wet N Wild portion of the ticket as we do not plan to go there anyway. I bought the 3 park unlimited because it was the least expensive park-to-park option for 5 days of park visits.
