Help!

I was reading on these boards a couple of months ago that you could upgrade park passes (MYW base) to a 10 day with no expiration and get charged the no exp fee only on the number of days you paid for. Meaning, I'm paying for 7 days, Disney kicks in the 3 extra days, so I should only have to pay the no exp on the 7 days, but it would be good for all 10 days.

I just got off the phone with reservations and the CM was saying I had to pay $200 per ticket for no exp? Am I missing something here? I thought it would be $117.15 including tax per ticket to add the no exp.

Did I misunderstand? HELP please! I have to make final payment today!

We're booked May 16-23, in case it matters. We booked in Feb.

If I'm not mistaken, you Upgrade after you are there, not now. Also, you do have to purchase the ticket with the package as a no expire ticket as well. You pay for the 4 days and actually get the price applied for a 7 day once you use the ticket. I don't know the actual numbers since we have APs but that's the way I think it's done.

Sorry, I still don't understand. Can anyone clarify?

Please? :)

WHen you buy the package you buy a 4 day non expiring ticket, you pay for 4 days and get 7. When you get to wdw you go in the park with your tickets and then go to guest relations and upgrade to the 10 day. The amout you save is the difference between the 4 and 7 day NON expriring ticket. YOu can also upgrade the 4 day nonexpiring to an AP. The prices for all types of tickets is on Moussavers.com if you want to see the actual price difference. Hope this helps.

I have the 4/3 deal with 10day PH water fun and more. I was able to upgrade over the phone on Saturday for the $117 rather than $200. At first the CM said it would be $200 PP extra. I explained that I thought it was discounted, and she was great! She just started from scratch with the ticket portion of my package and it came up for the discounted price. Just ask the CM to start from scratch with just your tickets. I did not want to upgrade at the park because I want to upgrade to an AP when I get there. You can only upgrade once after you use them.::cool1:

Ilovedisney....HI, when you purchased your package you would have got the 10 day base paying the 7 day base price (that is what i did too). Now you want to add no expiration to the 10 day, I think you had to do that before March 29th when the deal finished!!! Not 100% positive but I think that is what happened.

Don AP is Annual Pass.

the best way to have purchased the 4/7 deal ticket to upgrade would have been to purchase the 4 day non expriing and get the value of the 7 day and then upgrade once there and had 1 use. The difference in that value is greater than the difference in base tickets since the value of a day is only a few dollars on a regular base ticket, however, with the non expiring ticket the difference between a 4 and 7 day (the amount that would be used to upgrade once used) is quite a bit The actual prices are on Mousesavers.com with tax included, on WDW site without tax.

I just wanted to say have a great time, have fun and enjoy in your upcoming trip. Looking forward in hearing more from you after you came back.

Have a nice and safe trip coming. :)
