Hi. If I have an unused adult 5 day ticket can I use it to upgrade to a DVC Gold pass for my daughter who is 8? Also do you still need to use the ticket one time to get the maximum benefit for price bridging or can I upgrade before using? Thanks in advance!

Yes, they shouldn’t care that it’s an adult ticket and she’s 8. And no, you don’t have to use it first. I don’t know how long you’ve had the ticket but if it’s older the value you get won’t be the current gate value. Once they switched to tickets with expiration’s they began locking in the gate price for existing tickets. If it’s a newer ticket then the value will be based on the dates it was purchased for.

It is a little older.... maybe 2015. is it more cost effective to hold on to it and use it as a 5 day pass in the future and then buy a ticket from parksavers and bridge it to an annual pass for my summer trip?
