Upgrading ticket to no expiry

Is there a standard fee for upgrading the base tickets to no expiry once you are in the parks? Anyone done this?

Up to 14 days after the first use you can make changes to your ticket (ie: upgrades and add ons). To add no expiration you would be paying based on how many days the original ticket was for (not how many days are left on it).

Here is the pricing:
2 or 3 day ticket $10 per ticket
4 day $15 per ticket
5 day $35 per ticket
6 day $45 per ticket
7day $55 per ticket
10 day $100 per ticket

Thanks for asking this question! I am buying our tix without the expiration, but sometimes my DH takes a nonpark day, so I was afraid I would lose my unused days. If it gets near the end of our trip and he doesn't use every day I'll add the no expiration.

I have heard that you cannot upgrade you tickets after you get there to no expiry when you purchase a Disney package. Does anyone know if this is correct. If it was money in Disney's pocket...I can't see that they wouldn't let you. LOL

I was under the impression that you can change your ticket to no expir., but you have to pay for the original amount of days you purchased. For example, if you buy 7 days worth and on the 7th day you cannot go for some reason, you have to pay the no expir. fee for all 7 days, not just the one you didn't use.

Prior to 1/2/05, any ticket that was part of a WDW package could not be changed at all including upgrading.

With the advent of the MYW tickets and packages this has changed. You can now modify package tickets including upgrading and adding options at Guest Relations as well as at your resort front desk. The only thing you still cannot do is upgrade a package ticket to an AP/PAP/SP at a resort.
