Upgrading ticket purchased from Undercover Tourist

I read the ticket sticky but didn't see this specific issue addressed. We bought tickets from Undercover Tourist that were advertised as 4 day hopper ticket plus 3 days free in June, 2017. In MDE they are listed as 7 day PH valid through 12/31/30. If we want to upgrade them to Platinum APs, what is the value assigned to the ticket? Is it the $467 including tax that we paid Undercover Tourist for each ticket, or $516.53 which is the 2017 value of a 7 day PH ticket? Just want to know what we should be charged so we're prepared at the ticket window.

You should be credited $537.83, if it's an adult ticket. $516.53 is the child price for a 7-day hopper June 2017. You might get credited some amount less than $467, i.e. the wholesale price that Disney sold the ticket to Undercover Tourist. If that happens, be ready to act surprised and show them your calculations and ask where you went awry. With any luck, they'll get someone who knows how to do the upgrade properly.

I messed up. $537.83 is the gate price of your ticket. For the upgrade, you get credit for the advance-purchase price, which is $21.30 less with tax, or $516.53, just as you said.
