Upgrading ticket and monthly payment plan

My DD is going to DL for her 21st Bday with friends. Here GMA gave her a two day hopper. Can she upgrade to a AP at the ticket booths at DL and do the monthly payments?

She can as long as she is a CA resident.

I just wanted to confirm that SoCal 2-day $129 ticket can be applied to AP as well? (With monthly payments).

Typically any ticket media can be upgraded to an annual pass. Any eligible CA resident has the option of monthly payments as long as whatever they are upgrading cost more than the required down payment (1 day 1 park ticket.)
