Hi,

Sorry for asking this, but I've never upgraded before (i'm so deprived!!).

We're flying with First Choice in Sept and were wondering if its still possible to upgrade our already booked seats?

Do they 'sell them off' any cheaper as the flight date approaches, or can you even ask to upgrade (subject to availability) at the check in desk - would that be any cheaper?

Just priced up the same hol on line with upgraded seats and it's only showing an increase of about £250 - we expected £500 on top - 2 adults and 2 kids. Although we did pay £48 for seats together, that would be included in the upgrade so still only around £300 more.

Any ideas would be appreciated, ta.

The best tips I can give to get an upgrade at the desk are turn up early and look smart.

The times we have been upgraded we have always been told it's because we look the part.

I know it is not a massive tip but hope it helps.

What, for free?

I meant to pay for, I didn't think they did upgrades for free! I thought if, in the unlikely event that they had 4 upgrade seats spare, we could purchase them for less than the set price.

By the way, we're on twilight check in the night before, would that make a difference?
