Upgrading package tickets after you arrive

Hi,

I'm pricing up a trip on the room only offer for February.

My husband and I have park tickets left over from an old trip valid for 3 days but my son will need a ticket. The system allows me to add on a 1 day ticket for each of us. This is great to give hubby and I an extra day, thus making 4 in total. But could my son's ticket be upgraded locally to add on the extra 3 days he would need?

The other advantage of adding a 1 day ticket for everyone is that we can then add on the DDP if we want too.

Has anyone had any experience of this and know if we could just upgrade the one ticket?

Yes, after you check in, you can upgrade each ticket individually, or only one ticket if that is all you need. Everyone in the room has to have the same ticket package until check-in.

It may not be economical to use your 1 day ticket in addition to your 3 day. A one-day base (non-park hopper) ticket is worth $90.53 (including tax). Adding a day to a 3 day base ticket is $11.72.

If you're not buying the dining plan, there's no real reason to add tickets to your reservation. Just buy your son's ticket when you get there. (Or better still, buy it at a discount from Undercover Tourist!)

ETA: Sorry, just noticed that you have partially used tickets that can't be upgraded. Never mind!
