Upgrading MYW tickets to APs

We have a trip planned for the week after Thanksgiving. We are doing Christmas this year and we did Halloween last year. Naturally, as a true diser convert, I am thinking ahead already to 2007 and possibly another Halloween trip. We did the MYW package with dining last year and have that same package booked this year. I am watching rates so I can compare numbers if an AP code is released for this Nov. If we keep the package is it possible to upgrade the tickets to APs after our vacation? If it is I would guess I would have to do it before we lefe WDW. Any ideas?

If you upgrade your tickets to APs at the end of your vacation (ie before you leave WDW) I believe the date on your APs will be the first day that you used your MYW tickets. You can only upgrade your tickets at a WDW guest realations counter (one of theme parks or DTD).

Yes, If you purchase MYW tickets, you can upgrade them to AP's or PAP's as long as you do it within 14 days from the ticket's first use.

The annual pass will then expire the same day as the first day you used your pass - making it one year from when you first used the MYW ticket. Also remember that if you have the Water Park Fun and More options, you must upgrade to the Premium annual pass.

Like the last poster said, this can only be done at the Park guest relations locations, or DTD Guest Relations.
