Thought I’d ask the travel pros what’s a good luggage brand that’s stylish? I’m sure of all people to ask I would come to my DIS friends

I use an Osprey wheeled backpack. I'm not sure what you consider stylish, though. My Osprey has been around the world a couple of times and it still looks brand new.

I get whatever hard shell Costco has at the time I need it. I have Kenneth Cole Reaction brand which is fantastic as well as Delsey. They have held up to a lot of abuse and are still going strong

Don't overpay for luggage. It gets absolutely trashed by the airlines.

I love my TravelPro, Tumi, and Samsonite. As @DLgal mentioned, Delta destroyed my Samsonite on my last flight. I pretty much never check a bag unless it is over the holidays - which this was. Very sad as I love that luggage.

I used Hartmann for many years. It was well made but so heavy and outdated.I finally replaced it with Bric's. It's lightweight, durable and stylish. I love it!

We have eBag Mother lode's in 3 different sizes and have been very happy. They have been checked on Southwest several times and still look great.

After having my standard soft-sided check-in suitcase completely soaked through while being baggage-handled in the rain, I no longer carry soft-sided luggage. It must have been left out in the deluge for quite a while (our flight was delayed). I had to leave a hotel room fan on all day to dry out the case, and go to a foreign laundromat to wash all of our soaked clothes. Never again- hard-sided only from now on. I now have a few hard-sided Tommy Hilfiger bags I like.

I also now prefer colored luggage, just to make it easier to identify on a conveyor belt.

We bought hardsided Delsey luggage in 1983, still going strong. Scuffed up, but still solid.

If you’re wealthy, Tumi. If you’re rich, Briggs and Riley. If not, Travelpro.

Briggs & Riley - preferably when it's on sale. I have this AMAZING lightweight carry-on bag from them that also converts into a backpack. It holds a ton of stuff, is comfortable to carry, is durable, well made, I could go on and on.

Red Oxx - they don't make any wheeled bags. Very lightweight. Lifetime warranty & guarantee. Made in the US. Solid construction. I traveled through Europe for a week with one of their bags.

My daughter and I use Samsonsite. My husband insists on using a duffle bag, it's a Disney duffle bag he's had for years. Tried to get another one just like it but can't find one.

I love my Red Oxx duffle. Bought it when we went to Africa. Bush plane only allowed 1 soft sided bag of a certain size. I use it quite a bit for traveling near home when I don’t need a roller bag.
