upgrading from PH to AP ??

We just upgraded our Jan stay from POR to GF with the AP rate so now I have to buy an AP. We already have our PH passes so here's the question: Can I upgrade two 4-day PHs to 1 AP? The CM said yes, but I'm not sure. If yes, is there any way to do it before we go? (I have 2 PHs to upgrade due to a trip with the in-laws that was cancelled in Oct due to a death in the family and they are not going in Jan). I am so excited about staying at the GF. It is one of our last chances to stay there since I'm pregnant with our 4th child and we will really need a larger space with a kitchen after this.

Any AP help would be greatly appreciated!!

Here's the thing...have you used any days on your hopper? you cannot upgrade 30 days after activating it. Ive never heard of being able to combine two into one.

I have posted this question twice due to weird computer problem (I'm not very technical). To answer the question, no days have been used on either PH. I thought it was strange for the CM to say we could use both to upgrade to one AP but DH asked over and over and still the CM said yes.
