I am thinking about getting Disneyland APs for our family, and I read that it is a good idea to buy parkhoppers first in order to use the MM and then upgrade at the park. I am wondering, if I get the parkhoppers through Airmiles, can I upgrade the Airmiles parkhoppers to APs? If yes, what value is applied to the parkhoppers, is it the gate price (currently $199 according to the Disney website). If this is the case, then do I just pay $269 minus $199 = $70 per adult ticket?

Has anyone done this before or had a problem upgrading Airmiles parkhoppers to APs? I'd appreciate any info, thanks!

Sorry I don't know if you can upgrade to AP's but I know that if you get Airmiles passes use them first before you upgrade them or you pay the difference between the 'sale' price you got them at and the going gate rate.

Thank you, Mrs. Mouse. I hope that I am allowed to upgrade the Airmiles Disneyland parkhoppers to APs, that would save our family a LOT of money!
