Upgrading After 45 Days Prior?

For deluxe dining plan, that is. I am currently booked on an AP package with regular dining. It is almost 45 days before our trip and we have to pay off the package soon. I will not have enough money to upgrade before 45 days.

However, if it is after 45 days prior, can you upgrade to deluxe without being penalized?

Yes you can. As long as your price goes up and not down, you can make changes without penalty.

LOL! That's been my experience too. As long as the total amount of money you're giving them goes up, and not down, Disney seems to be pretty much okay with any changes you want to make... I would wait until you're absolutely sure you want DxDP before upgrading, though...because you almost definitely won't be able to change it back once you do...
