Upgrading a single day ticket

I have an unused single day ticket on an old room key that was purchased as part of a package many years ago (think 2009?) as part of a free dining package. If I use that ticket and upgrade to a 3 day park hopper, will I be credited for whatever the 1 day admission cost at the time of purchase or for what a 1 day admission currently costs?
