Upgrading a Room...

Help! I could call Disney for this, but I have a fear of talking on the phone! And you guys are so helpful- I figured you could help me!

I'm going to Disney in August and we booked Pop Century a few months ago. Now that we have done some research, we want to upgrade to POR. The only issue is that we don't have all of the money at once. Can we upgrade the room without having to pay for the entire room at once? Is there a way we can pay in something like installments? Can we just reserve the room now and pay later?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense. If it doesn't I'll try to rephrase it.

Yes you can upgrade now and they will tell you what you owe and the final payment is due 45 days before your trip. I do this every year, book as soon as I can than make payments instead of charging to a credit card. Just call Disney and tell them you want to modifiy a reservation and they will change it with no issues as long as there is availabilty. They will tell you what you owe and when it is due by. Trust me don't be afriad to talk to them about this I have called and changed my resort, ummm, 5 times so far for this next trip, it is a problem I have!

The answer is yes you can upgrade. Do you have a package or just a room? If room just pay off as you want the rest is due at check in but if you have a package with tickets etc you have 45 days out from the day you go. Yes you can pay something on it each day, week or monthly. Hope this helps
