Upgrades

How far before your cruise departure were you notified about an upgrade? I know that they are rare, but I'm still hopeful!

This November 4 will be our 3rd cruise with Disney and it will be our FIRST upgrade!!!

I booked as soon as I possibly could; January 2003. I paid it off September 2003 and I got the call from DU that we were upgraded way back in April of this year!!!

I went from a category 8 to category 5.

DCL rang me at home (in the UK) a week before our cruise, so that we could change the room number on our luggage tags, as we had already received our docs.

I was upgraded once (out of 5 cruises.) I booked in January for a March sailing. No one actually informed me of the upgrade, I just noticed it when my documents arrived. I had booked a Cat 11 and was upgraded to Cat 7! It was a terrific surprise!

Congrats, all, and thanks for your replys. We booked a category 6 for Easter Break. I am happy with our room choice, but an upgrade would be a wonderful surprise!
