UPGRADED!!! from cat 11 to 9

Just received confirmation letter today for Jan 9th cruise, i had a GTY in cat 11 , confirmation says stateroom 2054 cat 9!Does anyone know if this happens often?or is there a chance when my doc's arrive they have a different stateroom #?Im excited and im stressed thinking im going to loose the upgrade.

Hi Donna, do you have a room number ? if not go to the cruiseline web site and see if you have been upgraded. I guess a cat 9 has a porthole? i can't find any pics of what it looks like.I hope they don't take it away, LOL Julie

I do have a room #. So if you have a room # you don't get upgraded?
We booked early hoping to be upgraded. It'll be great anyway!!!

Can't help you with actual info on the upgrade process. We are hoping for an upgrade from our cat 6 cabin in January!

Thanks for the Pic, wow that room looks better then i thought. i heard porthole and i think of a little tiny circle. Not that i should complain. I think i got spoiled last spring when we had a verandah state room.I am so excited i can't wait to cruise again. and again and again. We have a cat 6 for our may cruise, and thats only because the Dkids will be with us and it is nice to sit on the verandah when the kids go to bed.

Congratulations! It looks like you are safe too as your stateroom is not on Dave's list of possible noisy rooms on deck#2.
