UPGRADE!!!!

Too far away? AKL is too far for me any more. Pop is so close to Epcot.

I do like Epcot resorts, so from now on, I'll do the Swan or Dolphin anyway. Not doing Disney again.

Agreed. POP is also like around the corner from HS and its really not that far from AK. The farthest park is MK and even that isnt that far. Maybe the buses take a longer route but in a car POP is very conveniently located

Wow, the same magic happened for us when we had reservation for the mermaid rooms at AOA. Cast member called us to offer a free upgrade at AKL with bunk beds and savanna view. It was awesome. I would love to stay their again.

Whoa, that’s quite an upgrade! What time of year was this/was it recent? Assuming it was due to overbooking? We usually stay in the mermaid rooms at AoA but after dining at AKL several times last trip, would love to stay there!

It was about 4 years ago in July. We booked 3nights at AOA. It was a total shock when we got the phone call for the upgrade. But now that I think back the Rooms may have been overbook because it was a newer resort. But it was a great experience to stay at AKL.
