Upgrade/waitlist?

We are booked on the July 30 west coast cruise in a cat 10. We are waitlisted for anything in a 8,9,or 6. Has anyone had any luck with waitlisting a cabin?

usually most of the cancellations happen 60-75 days out when payment is due

djs is right...usually happens about the time that people have to make their final payment.

we've tried it several times and have only been disappointed once. we have a WONDERFUL rep at DCL who keeps her eyes open for us and lets us know if she sees something open up. even she cautions us that there's no guarantee. am hoping that the magic continues....we are waitlisted for a 3, 2 or 1 for our 6/4 cruise. we're in a cat 4 now.

btw, one of the times our waitlist came through, we got the walt suite!
