Upgrade to hopper

Hi, it will be out first trip to DCA in February. We have booked our hotel and single park tickets with Disney but as we are there for 5 days we were wondering if it's possible to upgrade our ticket to a hopper for our final day?
Do we just pay the extra?
Can't seem to find anything on their website, only about upgrading to AP

I'm not sure if you can upgrade just a single day... but I'd really recommend upgrading to Park Hoppers for every day. Since the parks are easy walking distance from each other it make a lot of sense to hop back and forth, much more sense than at Disney World. Plus, Disneyland is usually open later than DCA so it's a nice way to maximize time.

It is not possible to upgrade to hoppers for only one day out of your five. Either you upgrade all your days or none because it will cost you the same to upgrade on the last day as on your first. So you might as well upgrade from day one and enjoy your park hopping (especially if you will be buying MP, too!).

Does anyone know the opening hours for Feb/Mar? I know they will be shorter due to the time of year.

I looked into this too, because we originally had 1 park per day tickets for our trip next week and I didn’t realize the last day was the start of the holiday season and we’d want to see both parks! But the answer was definitely that you can’t upgrade for just one day, only the whole ticket. So if you plan to go that way, make sure you do it the first day or ahead of your trip so you get the whole value out of it.

You can’t upgrade just for one day, but it’s about the same amount to upgrade a 1 day ticket to a park hopper as a 5 day ticket ($50 total). So you won’t be paying $50 per day on the ticket, but $50 total. (It might be $55 now. I don’t know exactly but it’s around there.) You just upgrade at the ticket booths in between the parks.
