Upgrade to AP question

We bought 3 day tickets and may possibly upgrade to an AP since we are going again in Feb. My question is if you upgrade do you still have to pay the balance or you can do the rest in monthly payments? And yes we live in CA

YOu can do monthly payments.

Since you live in CA, you can pay the remaining balance with their monthly payment system.

I upgraded my three day pass last summer and opted to do the payment plan option. I was surprised that they automatically deducted the first months payment at the time of upgrade. But I was just happy to have my AP!
