I know at Disneyland in Anaheim that you can take a purchased ticket and put it towards the purchase of an annual pass.

Is the same thing true at Disneyland Paris?

I purchased tickets online for "Magic" level - but now want to upgrade to an annual pass. Can I do that at the box office?

Think you can go to the Annual passport office in the park and they will upgrade to an AP. The only time they can't is when the ticket is part of a package as it is included

Ok - we purchased an online ticket and will go to the ticket counter and see what we can work out.

It'd be nice to get the "extra morning hour" bonus and discounts on food. Otherwise, no big deal. It'd be fun to add the pass to our collection.

You can. You go to the AP office inside the park (it's opposite the castle stage) and they will do it there.

You'll need your passport with you, they will take the photo and you pay the difference between the price written on your ticket and the AP you choose.

That's amazing. So just to make sure I got this: go through the gates with said ticket purchased, then go to the AP office inside the park and upgrade to the Fantasy-level pass.

You guys are so helpful! :)

Yep that's it :) Just don't forget your passport for a photo id

What if the price of the ticket is more than the AP? Can you still do it and will they issue a refund?

What ticket have you got that is dearer than the price of an AP ? First AP starts at 135€ and a 1 day/2 park ticket is at 90€ so it will always be dearer

I purchased a 4 day for the price of 3 ticket. Purchased the French offer and it ended up being abou 169 euros per person. I had no idea the APs were cheaper until recently. Should've done my research, but I assumed it was the same as WDW where an AP costs much more than a 10 day with park hopper.

Well the Fantasy which doesn't have the 2nd or 3rd day where you can't enter the park (which is the case of the Francilien @135€) is 179€ so still dearer. The amount taken comes from a 1 day ticket not for 2/3/4 day tickets I'm afraid

I'm not sure what you mean by the 2nd or 3rd day where you can't enter the park. Does that mean you can't visit the park 2 or 3 days consecutively?
We'd probably pay the extra 31 euros and get the Fantasy, so we can use EMH and still get discounts at the restuarants and shops. 4 days at Disney will most likely pay for the extra 31 euros. That's if they let us upgrade. If not, I guess we'll have to stick with our 4 day passes.

You can't upgrade your tickets - you can only upgrade a 1 day ticket so you would have to buy an AP and pay full price

The cheapest AP is a Francillien at 135€ with this AP you can use it on day 1 but not on day 2 and 3

A Fantasy will cost you 175€ at the gate or if you find a sponsor you can get 10%

Have a look here where it is all explained

If you have buy a 1 Day 1 Park or 1 Day 2 Parks ticket to access the parks, the cost of this ticket in Euros can be deducted from the price of your Annual Passport if you purchase during your visit! Note: This is not possible for tickets of 2 Days or greater or those given through a hotel package (usually indicated with 'Forfait' on the reverse).

Thanks for looking into this. Guess I will do better research in the future before purchasing tickets.

You always used to be able to upgrade park tickets from more days - they just took off the price of unused days. Has this changed now?
