Upgrade MYW to FL resident 3 Play?

Is it possible to get in on a package deal with a one day ticket purchase and then upgrade to the FL resident 3 day pass? I'd planned on an onsite visit during the time of the special....... and for a break from the major parks (water parks and MNSSHP) but now I'm wondering about other options.....

I'm not as interested in waiting until the package opens up specifically to FL resident b/c that would be a length of stay pass and I don't want to do parks the entire time. I'm wondering about upgrading to the FL 3 Play that would allow using the 2 other days some other time within 6 months. Anyone heard anything about this on the boards? Thanks.

I just signed up for the 3 nights with free dining but the CM said I would not be able to upgrade the one day to FL 3 play but possibly an annual pass.

well then you can upgrade to the florida res seasonal pass which is only about 225.00 if you are even thinking about coming back within a year that would be the best way to go because by the time you add hopping to the play for 3 it will be almost the same.
