My boys will turn 10 a few weeks after we return from our March trip so they are considered children for this trip. I was thinking about upgrading them to adults for the dining plan if we purchase it. With SPD looking likely for our dates, would I still be able to do that or would I incur additional charges? Also, if I did do this, would they still be able to order from a kids menu if they chose to in some instances using an adult credit? Thanks for your help!

You would be allowed to upgrade them to adults without fees. The price would actually stay the same since adults pay child prices, so that's a bonus.

Most places allow adults to order child meals and will even bring them larger portions of the child meal.
