I wasn't sure which board to put this on...
Ok, here's the question. How does upgrading an unused park hopper to an annual pass work? I did this last fall and I just found receipts last night that make me think that I have been cheated. And yes, I do feel pretty stupid at the moment.
WE bought 4 day park hoppers from Ticketmania.com in March
2002. WE went to Disney in Sept 2002. We never used a single day on the park hoppers. I went straight to guest services in Epcot to do the upgrade. I had problems with the girl b/c she tried to give me an Annual Pass with an expiration date in March 2003. She fixed that after I complained.
So, I originally paid $548 for the 4 day park hoppers. I have the Disney Club discount. She charged me $375.24 for each adult AP and $319.06 for the child's AP. Tax was $60.54. A whopping total of $1069.54. I didn't get any kind of credit for the park hoppers. So, essentially I gave her my unused park hoppers and paid the full DC price for AP's.
Shouldn't I have received some type of credit. I was looking at Deb Will's site and she has a thing on their stating that if the park hoppers are upgraded within 7 days of 1st use, then you get full credit. I have already called Disney and the CM was most unhelpful.
