(UPDT: 2/21) Losing The Glass Slippers to RUN like a Princess! Serial-PTRer report!

OMG LET'S!!!!! No, I don't get the parent pass as I really don't watch the videos. Oh, I look at them when Victoria is watching, but I don't pay much attention so I don't have much interest in meeting them. Honestly, you can meet quite a few of them just hanging out on the grounds or by the pool, if you wanted. Nope, I spend my time by the pool, reading, people watching, etc. I think for 2014 I'll probably try to get a one day ticket for Sea World and take myself there during the convention. The hotel provides free shuttles to two of the outlet malls, (and to the parks) so that's a possibility as well! Victoria's fb account is under Victoria Fox and Savannah could go through my fb to get to hers. Her twitter is @vicloveslouis. Now, just so you are warned, Victoria can get raunchy and use foul language on her twitter. I do what I can to advise her not to, but she is who she is. She really is a good kid, but most times she speaks (writes) before she thinks! There is a 2 year age difference there. Hopefully Victoria will not be so angry and depressed as she has been. She starts counselling again next Wednesday! Thank Goodness!! It's only taken me 3 months to get a counselor who is available who also takes my health insurance. Ugh!

I am soooo excited for this. I'll have to make Savannah a PlayList backsack like Victoria's and Kali's so they can all match! And after all these years, you and I can finally meet face to face!! I know you and I have different views on some things (yes, I'm a Republican), but I know we'll get along great!!!

This will mean matching tickers for us!!!

Yes, Kali is planning to go again in 2015, so maybe Savannah should bring a friend, too. I think the chair also folds out into a bed. I'll have to check. What a party this is turning out to be. I'm so excited!!! They also have villas on property, so if this party is getting too big, there's always that option! There's another backsack to make. Wow....good thing I'll have until 2015. OMG, I could send the backsacks to Savannah and her friend for Christmas 2014!! Wow, it's a good thing we don't plan way ahead or anything??!!! I can tell you that we are not going in 2016. That's the girls' senior year and there are things they don't want to miss ---- there's a festival that's always that weekend and they want to be home for that.

This is really happening!!!

I really hope no one here at work is keeping an eye on me because my break should have been over 30 minutes ago but I am way too pumped up now!

As for down time, there isn't much. Usually the night we arrive is the only down time we have and we do go to DTD that night. Usually Saturday and Sunday the girls are out of the room by 10am and not back until 6pm. We meet up for dinner and then the girls go "stalking" until their curfew, which is negotiable with me. Stalking includes just walking around the grounds seeing who they can see. There are some nighttime events (like a concert) but I think that's only on Sunday. If you wanted to go to MK, it would have to be Monday as there is just no other time. I don't know what we'll do in 2015 as for will we just stay and make it our Disney trip or not. We arrive last March on Friday and left Monday morning. This year we are coming in on Thursday (the airfare was much cheaper to fly in on Thurs even with the extra night charge of the hotel).

Ok, well I think we will probably forgo MK and just do DTD the night of arrival. I told Savannah already that we just cannot afford to do IT ALL and she has to learn that sometimes you miss one thing in order to get to do another.

Besides I still intend on being in Orlando at the end of February 2015 as well, to run the Glass Slipper Challenge. Don't ask me how I'm going to pull of two trips to Florida in a months time, but that's the plan! I think they will both just be short, weekend trips.

She is hoping her parents will let her come (we are concerned since she's going on a trip with us in 2014 as well) if she saves up the money for her ticket herself. Apparently, meeting the youtubers she follows ranks higher than even Taylor Swift (her words) so it's a pretty big deal!

Questions:
Do you purchase the more expensive ticket that includes the "shorter lines" for meet and greets? Seems worth it.
WHEN do you purchase the tickets? Looks like that shorter lines ticket is sold out and there are limited amounts of these, is there a certain time (Summer?) that they need to be purchased by?
When will we reserve the room? Do they allow you to do it when you are there for the 2014 PLL? Can you just reserve and then pay it off when we pool our money?

Edited: Ann, after talking to Rey, he thinks I should just get a room for us so I can sleep on an actual bed. He thinks we'll be over occupancy and on top of each other. I guess since I have a year and a few months, I can save up and make sure I have enough...I figure if he's ok with me spending it, I'm not going to complain! LOL. So, still when do I need to reserve the room...and, other than sleeping together, I suspect we'll still be at the pool all day together! YAY!!!!! HAVE NO FEAR! Wednesday is 100 days for us! Eleanor is coming over and I have a 100 day celebration planned! Many photos will be taken...besides, Eleanor wanted a mini-photo shoot since she just got her hair done and has never really had any professional photos taken, so I'm going to take her up to the park and take some of her.

According to Victoria, without the LinePass, she wouldn't have met some of the more popular You Tubers, so it's worth it. Yes, those passes go very quickly --- within the first weeks of announcing the dates and location. We follow PlayList Live on Twitter and Facebook, so we usually know the dates ahead of the tickets going on sale. I'd have to go back and read the PTR as that would give me the dates of when the announcement is made. I want to say August or September, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

2. Obviously we cannot reserve rooms until the event dates are announced. Although so far it's always been held at Caribe, but it may change --- that's an unknown. What's great is you can reserve the room without a deposit down and you don't have to pay it in full until the day you get there. I just read your edit regarding Rey's opinion....those men need to stay out of it!!! We can at least request connecting rooms, right?? I was so looking forward to the great big sleep over, but we can just have the connecting door open if we choose.

We have over a year to make the plans, so I'm sure they will come together just fine.

So...I did a little research and the last three years it has been at the same resort (I'm pretty sure?) and on the same weekend in March. So then I went to the Caribe Royal website and looked at rooms for March 20-23rd 2015. Yep, I'm a freak. It actually will let you book. Now, I don't know what you paid, but I can get a AAA room for $152 a night for those dates and reserve it with no penalty canceling (as long as it's 72 hours before the check-in date)...so that's what I did! Yep, I have a three night reservation for March 2015 when I don't even know if those for sure will be the dates! I just thought maybe they jack the prices up when they announce the dates, and this way if they don't and they are cheaper, I can cancel.

Oh and I just did more stalking...I mean, research...tickets went on Sale on June 19th! It looks like they sold fast (do the prices go up the longer they are on sale) but it also looks like the hotel booked pretty fast too. I'm glad I have my backup reservation (if they indeed do it on the same weekend in 2015) but not sure, were the rates discounted for the hotel? How much are you paying in 2014?

I believe I'm paying right around $178 per night. Yes, the price of the tickets do go up as the time goes on. I'm not sure if they set aside a particular block of hotel rooms for PlayList, but I think they do. It really doesn't matter what tower you are placed in, they are all centrally located. We were in tower 2 last year and our room faced the convention center --- we liked it a lot. How is Savannah now that you have the room reserved??? I bet she's soooo excited!!

See, this is why my plan is brilliant! I booked the rooms for $152 a night and so if they bump up the prices for Playlist Live, I will still get a cheaper price b/c I will have booked early! Yep, booking a year and a half in advance for a date that may or may not be the correct date. I got this!

No, no, sorry about that! I meant NIGHTS, not rooms. I wasn't sure if you would agree with such a scheme, so I figured I would just reserve mine for now. We have so much time, but this keeps me from stressing out the whole time about not getting a room at a price I can afford!

If Victoria is cool with taking the time out for me to do a shoot, I would love to! I bet there are loads of areas around the resort that would make for a pretty shoot!!!
