updating Pal Mickey

Does anyone know if you're able to upgrade the Pal Mickey to the newer version that would include the new attractions? If so, where can you do this and how much for the upgrade? Thanks!

Your Pal Mickey Download all the current information as you enter the different park as long at he is turned on and facing the entrance.

If I'm not mistaken isn't there an actual program difference between the old Pal Mickey and the newer version?
From my understanding the newer one talks and reacts more, and the older version requires more than the standard park entry update to get this newer program upgrade.
To get the new program upgrade don't you need to go to MK City Hall and have the mdownload it into your Mickey?

Or am I making things more complicated than it is and the newer program can be pbtained just be entering the parks????

I bought my new Pal Mickey during our trip in July. I LOVE him. Never stops talking and he gave me alot of info I didn't know about.

My Dsis had the old version and although they say that they update in the park automatically, hers never seemed to talk as much as mine although she had put a set of fresh batteries in. She went to a place in town square...not sure if it's cinema Hall or Expositon hall and this lady apparently put som device next to his head to update him.

He talked as much as mine after that.....

The old pal mickey can not be upgraded to contain the information on new rides and such that the new pal has..the only thing that will upgrade on him are the normal park information such as parade and show times.
