Updating ESTA with flight details

Bought our ESTA's for last years trip and was updating them for this year with our new details - it allowed me to update my US address but not the flight details - couldn't see anywhere to change this detail.

So my updated ESTAs now say we are going to Cabana Bay Resort in US Orlando but we are going on a BA from London to Anaheim (as we did last August) instead of our Virgin to Manchester flight this coming June.

I presume they have changed things so that flight details no longer need to be updated - is this right or am I missing something?

ok, thats odd, I just checked mine, as its something I need to do for my June trip to California. It seems they have changed the update fields, I could only update my hotel info. Maybe the flight info is automatically changed through the airline database

you don't have to update them - they are valid for the first trip - even then flight and where staying are vague at best - flights change, dates change, hotels change.

They changed them at the end of last year and you were no longer able to amend the flight details. I emailed CBP as DD's was an old one (I needed a new one) and asked, and they told me that I can just leave them as they were. It's not relevant. I did, we traveled and had no issues.

As been said you don't need to update them, I never have
