Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid
-a major, all-new attraction during which guests will travel with Ariel and her friends through their exciting adventures above and below the waves – all against a musical backdrop of songs from the classic film.

The castle of the Beast
-Standing majestically upon a hill just across an old stone bridge from Ariel’s new home. The Be Our Guest Restaurant will feature a lavish dining experience in the elegant ballroom, gallery, and mysterious “West Wing” of the castle. With seating for 550, this magnificent facility will offer “great food fast” service by day and full table service dining in the evening. Nearby in Belle's Village, guests will find the rousing Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour! Village Gifts.
Just outside the village is Belle’s cottage and Enchanted Tales with Belle. The adventure begins in Maurice’s workshop, where a magical mirror is the doorway to a captivating new kind of storytelling experience: Guests are transported to the Beast’s library to meet Belle and Lumiere, and share in a lively, interactive, re-telling of the “tale as old as time.”

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
-it will take guests on a rollicking, musical ride into the mine “where a million diamonds shine.” The coaster will feature a first-of-its kind ride system with a train of ride vehicles that swing back and forth, responding to every twist and turn of the track. The journey will be accompanied by music from the classic Disney film and animated figures of Snow White and the Dwarfs.

Princess Fairytale Hall
-Aurora, Cinderella and other Disney princesses, such as Tiana and Rapunzel, will greet guests in their new home, an elegant royal court on the site where Snow White’s Scary Adventures stands today.

The sound of the calliope
-This will lead guests to the brand new Storybook Circus and not one but two circling carousels of airborne pachyderms on Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Before taking to the skies on this Fantasyland favorite, guests can experience an array of fun-filled family games and interactive wonders for kids of all ages inside the Big Top.

Storybook Circus
-the classic Barnstormer gets a bright new look as well, featuring Goofy as The Great Goofini. It’s a twisting, turning roller coaster “flight” high above the circus fun.

So in summary, the Little Mermaid and the Beauty & the Beast areas are staying the same. The Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Pixie Hollow areas have been scrapped. A new Snow White rollercoaster is being built in the place of Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty. Snow White's Scary Adventures is being replaced with a princess meet & greet area. A circus is taking up the space Pixie Hollow was. Barnstormer is still staying a Goofy themed rollercoaster.

I think Dumbo takes up too much space, and it's a shame they're closing SWSA, but other than that, it looks pretty awesome.

UPDATE

It's a high resolution picture of the overview showing everything. Something to note is a Casey Jr. water play area, I guess similar to Donald's Boat. Be warned, the picture is HUGE!

This all sounds pretty interesting. I'm surprised they're getting rid of SWSA, though.

In the picture of the B&TB themed shop, the kid carrying that giant Beast toy makes me laugh...

what has been seen cannot be unseen.

Anyway, when I heard they were closing SWSA, I was (and still am, I only heard about it 10 minutes ago) pretty upset.

It was a classic, and that new mine coaster idea about swinging mine cars is making me nervous just reading about it.

This looks like its going to be a good edition to Fantasyland. The new rollercoaster is most intriguing to me. I'm upset that Sleeping Beauty isn't going to be recognized in this area of the park. Cinderella already has a restaurant, a castle and the symbol of MK, so I think that's enough, but Sleeping Beauty has basically nothing. Though there are many shows that feature characters from the movie, I think Sleeping Beauty needs to be shown more. Dumbo is definitely taking up way too much space. I think, once this happens, the essence of the Dumbo ride we all know and love will be lost, in my opinion. And are they seriously going to close SWSA? That makes me really upset. It was the first ride at WDW I ever went on. Though it may not be as high-tech as most attractions in Disney, it is a classic.

I think they didn't want to put too much in MK about Sleeping beauty because she's DL's symbol.

is the goofy ride the same thing as the barnstormewr just with a different waiting area?

I've updated the post with a huge picture of the overview area. It's a very big picture indeed. You can see the Seven Dwarves on a log by one of the castle spires, just like in the movie :-D

YES! Bye SWSA! Hello Princess Meet and Greet! :DDDD

&that overview picture took forever to load, and froze my computer up and I still haven't gotten able to look at it :/

I'm really excited about the mine coaster, we always walk right through Fantasyland since the youngest in our group is 15 and my dad is convinced that there's an age limit on the dark rides based off movies (-.-), now I have an excuse to go back :D

Also, I'm really glad the Barnstormer's sticking with more or less the same theme. I read somewhere that it was being rethemed to the Pink Elephants on Parade to make it less scary!!! :scared1: I'm pretty relieved to see that's not true, lol

Okay, I'm a sucker for when they put in details like that (Kind of like the campsite in AK) but this is going to take a lot of getting used to...

Looks like the super huge picture has been taken down... Shame. I'll see if I can find it again.

The new Fantasyland is going to be amazing! I mean what isn't in disney, but anyways, i am so upset about SWSA! It's a classic and one of my fave "movie rides!" Although a princess meet and greet area would be cool although you can find them in MANY places already... does anyone know what is going to happen with the Winnie the Pooh ride? I've loved that ride since i was little and would be heartbroken if they got rid of it!

I'm very excited for the Seven Dwarfs ride! Sounds VERY cool!:thumbsup2

they just re-did the queue... pics are up on allears. it looks really cool!

I'm so-so on SWSA. I never was like OMGMUSTRIDENAO. But I don't hate it. Though, the swinging mine cars make me a bit nervous.

I actually like the idea of one big princess meet and greet instead of a bunch of different ones all over the place. And it's great for little girls who want to see all the princess but don't like standing in a bunch of lines all day. One trip and you're done.

I like the Mine Coaster, but the swinging mine cars make me nauseous just thinking about it. I love the new editions, but I don't think Dumbo needs that much space either. There's enough space for anothrer ride perhaps? ;)
