I like both designs. I am leaning toward the second one because it is smaller, but if you can make the first one smaller that would be great to add to our siggy's!!!!

Both look great

Have had 2 power outages(2hrs & 1 hr) and trying to survive on laptop and aircard. I hate winter.

Agreed. I love the pictures that are being designed for some of the other teams as well. Can anyone on Team 2 pull that off for us once we get a team name that is?

I have ancestors from Wales, so anyone as lovely as you who lives in New South Wales is on the team. WWDave, can you give us the blond beauty Helen?

Plus that gives us the Red Dragon and the Little Grey Donkey so far. We'll be colorful if not victorious. A great friend and runner once told me that looking good is more important than being fast.

About the name . . .

I was thinking today that I want Team 8 to be the baddest of the bad boys. We're talking the late 60's and early 70's Oakland Raiders. The Detroit Pistons of the late 80's.

So I thought bad, villians, I want to be bad. It came to me, the greatest quote of all . . .

"I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way."

And the name came to me. We are Jessica's Rabbits. Since I'm a mathematician instead of a graphic designer, however, I need someone to create the team emblem. Be sure to emphasize, ahem, Jessica Rabbit's natural resources.

Does this name meet with the approval of this rapidly-forming team? Please let me know.

Ready to get this event going. This morning there was no wind and the temp was 27, clear and cool, went for 5 miles, felt good. Lynn is out for a walk/run with the pups. AT the end Lance Armstrong congratulated me by telling me I had a PB for the mile, (Nike I-Pod). Temp is up to 39 Oh it is going to be a warm one today LOL!!!

Hakuna Mattata!!!

Man, hearing Lance's smooth tones is enough to keep me motivated! I had my Nike+ on for the full, and you could have knocked me over when his voice came on to congratulate me. (At the time, though, I though, "Duh, yes this is the farthest I've run. No need to tell me that!")

Jeanne, it's a tough decision but I go for the second because I, too, think it will look better when it's smaller. Plus, I really like cool shades.
