Updated Pricing and Ressie Info for 2011

It happened a little earlier than I thought it would {I wasn't expecting this until August}, but my ressies for January 2011 have been updated with the 2011 pricing.

I originally made my ressies in December 2009, and of course, they charge the max rate {over $1300 for a 2 week stay!}. I didn't panic because I knew from experience and through lots of reading through threads that this would get updated once new 2011 pricing became available. The amount went down significantly {to $900 for 2 weeks preferred site}, so I'm feeling much better.

One question that I don't immediately know the answer for, what is the (FD) code mean next to our site?:


Hotel
Disney's Fort Wilderness Campsites
Preferred Campsite (FD)
Quantity
Rate per Room/per Night (plus tax)

Only 5 1/2 months until Fort Wilderness here we come! The time has flown by and I'm sure these busy months will fly by just as quickly.

Got mine too. I had checked allears for the 2010 rates for the time of year we are going. I was surprised when I got my email that it had gone up about $10 a night from the same time last year.

We are getting annual passes so hoping for a little bit of a discount.

Oh well...still looking forward to our first visit at the Fort!!

I haven't received anything yet on my 2011 reservations. I tried to check on-line but the system seems to be down now for modifications. I'm hoping the rate goes down alot from when I made my reservation back in 2009 because they made me put down a deposit of $107 for a full hookup in January.


ETA - I just checked again and they have put in the new rates on my reservation. Sure am glad that rates are much lower than my deposit.

My reservations for May 2011 have been updated also. I did notice that the rate for the partial hookup sites have gone up $3. Still looking forward to our first visit to the Fort.
