I'm having to barrow from my 2014 points. If I get the room using higher points and then in a couple of day call MS and dropping 1 or 2 days, what happens to the points I borrowed??TIA

As of this morning 11/30/12, I went on line and waited until 8am to place my reservation for 2013 and got it
My dates are: Nov 30,2013 to Dec 07,2013 at my Home Resort and in the Studio value that I wanted.

NOW how or WHEN do I drop the Nov 30 date and I want to add Dec 8 th??? TIA.

I had to do that last year. MS made sure that the points used for the cancelled days were in my current year so I was able to bank them. The borrowed points remained with the reservation so there was no harm done to them. If, however, you've missed your banking window or you're within 30 days of travel, it's an entirely different story.

You can never "unborrow" points. It's a one way transaction. Like schelt stated, you need to make sure MS uses the borrowed points for the remaining days and try to bank the points that were left. As long as you are still more than four months out from the end of your UY.

If Dec ends on the 31st this year and I want to go online for Dec 01,2013 to dec082013, would I book on Dec 31st this year or Jan 01,2013?? I hope you understand what I'm asking.

Hmmm....the member website says today - Dec 29,12, that you can book vacations starting November 29,13.

So, counting along it looks like you can book Dec 1, 13 starting Dec 31, 12.
If I were you I would log on Monday morning and check it out.

You could also call MS and ask, but sometimes you get different answers. With online booking it's pretty easy to just give it a shot.

You would need to wait until 1/1/13 to book for 12/1/13. You can book 11 months out from your check in day.

12/1 is a high requested day.
If you need to book a view with low availability (like AKV concierge, value, BWV standard, BLT standard) perhaps it's better to try to walk your reservation, booking today from 11/29 to 12/2 and then on 1/2 call MF to cancel 11/29-30 and add the other days to your reservation.
It might be even too late (thinking to AKV value and Concierge).

Congratulations on getting the reservation you wanted! (I know how it feels, because I just reserved a BWV standard view villa for our early December vacation next year).

You actually have a 7 night reservation with a check in of 11/30/2013 and a check out date of Saturday, 12/7/2013. So I'll assume that you really want to add the night of 12/7/2013 so that your check out date will be Sunday, 12/8/2013.

To drop 11/30 and add the night of 12/7/2013, you will have to call MS. As long as you call before January 7 (when the window for 12/7/2013 opens), you are guaranteed to get that last night. The earliest you can call to add the last night is tomorrow. So call at your convenience sometime in the next few days. After MS makes the changes, you should have a reservation to check in on 12/1/2013 and check out on 12/8/2013.

This reservation is special to us , my DD turns 21 on Dec 1ST, and she wanted to spend it at Disney with her Mom(me) and Dad.

You won't be able to call until the 2nd to drop the night of the 30th. You can't have a reservation start on 12/1 until 1/1 and MS won't be open for you to,do it that day.
