I printed out my conformation.... One is paperless - sw- and -Airtran- is
check in 24 hrs to 90 minutes before the flight is scheduled....

My question is I am not sure what Airtran is because it doesnt say....Help!!!!!

Sw.... I can check in about - since my flight is 10:35am on the 17 of Aug-
well I guess sometime before I leave work... prob about 4:00 of 5:00 the day before right....

But what if my computer isnt working... what do I do?
I cant do it at the airport correct?

Anything about Airtran I should know?

I'm not sure about those airlines, but anything I've flown recently (Delta, Continental) it is a paperless ticket, so you won't get anything in the mail (unless you paid extra for a paper ticket). You just bring your confirmation number and your photo id. I was nervous about it the first time too, I like having a piece of paper in hand, but everything is in the computer.

Someone who flies more frequently might be able to give you more details.

Pretty much you're done. Everything is paperless nowadays.

With Southwest you can checkin 24 hours in advance on your computer, print out your boarding pass.

Unless you paid extra for paper tickets, you will not get a ticket in the mail. You may get a receipt mailed to you, or e-mailed to you .

When you go to the airport, each adult needs to have a picture id with them, drivers license, passport or something like that. Children do not need this. You can print out your boarding pass ahead of time and bring that with you.
I have never flown on SW, so I don't know what their rules are for curbside check in, but if they offer this, you can check your luggage outside of the airport and then avoid lines at the ticket counters. The out side check in is always a shorter wait, but if you do this you should tip the skycap who checks your bags. Inside at the ticket counter you don't need to tip those people.
You need to show your id when you check your bags, and when you go through the security lines, so keep it handy.

You can check in online with Air Tran also. You will print out your boarding passes. If you are staying at a Disney resort ask if they can print them out for you.

Airtran is also paperless. Pretty much all of the airlines are paperless

You can always check in at the airport. Doing it ahead of time is a time saving thing for you, and allows the airline to employ less people at the airport since there should be less people in line. If your flight is at 10:30, you can check in online any time after 10:30 the day before.
I am sure it is all going to be fine for you because the 17th is my birthday, and it will be a fine day.
