I'm glad you braved Splash Mountain. It's a fun ride. I like Big Thunder Mountain - it's just the right kind of roller coaster for me, and the theming is cool. Lots of photo opportunities.

Did you video your mom on the teacups? She seems to be having a good time in all the pictures. Be sure to check the zipper pockets of her suitcase on the next trip for hidden tubes of Super-Glue!

I think you should have taken a teacher along to help with your reading at Winnie-the-Pooh. Let's see....where we can we find a teacher? Hmmmm...

You are doing better at stopping and smelling the roses, since you watched the Family Fun Day Parade "for a few seconds". (Okay, that technically only qualifies as one rose's worth. Maybe in the future you'll slow down for a whole minute!) That parade is said to be gone with the end of Year of a Million Dreams. I hope they do something else similar, because I know a lot of little kids (and big ones) who enjoyed being a part of that. Just a nice little fun addition to make a trip special!

Walking onto Main Street does just bring a great feeling with it, but it's especially awesome when it has holiday decorations! Jill will be there Saturday, and she calls me every day to remind me of that. Sunday is her birthday, and she's going to be at Fantasmic Sunday night. I know that because she has told me numerous times this weekend! It sure does make for a happier work week when you know that at the end of it, you are going to Disney World!

glad you got over to the beach club area. i love this area of WDW. i spend a lot of time in epcot so being able to walk in at the international gateway right to world showcase is a favorite of mine. i have finally decided on BWI for my birthday trip in April so I will let you know dates just in case you plan to join me.

to you for getting on the Rocking Roller Coaster. That is the one ride I cant bear to tackle. When we were there in March, I could not ride it so I had an excuse, and before that I told Kelsey that the ride is not good (even though she was tall enough) Ok, because you tried it I may give it a go.

You should try it. Part of what scared me was the sound it makes when it takes off. But then I realized that it was just a sound effecr to make it seem like it's going faster than it actually is!

Beach Club/Boardwalk area is so gorgeous. We always make sure we eat at Cape May so we can hang out over there. The hubby doesn't want to stay at either place but I think he'd do it after they go through a rehab. He has freshness issues.

Your husband is a trip! Glad you came back!

It was so great, in fact, that we are going back this October, just for MNSSHP. That parade really is entertaining. I found myself smiling...really smiling through the entire thing. Oh, and the boys loved it, too!

I did too! I know I must've looked goofy with those things bobbing on my head too!

I just started reading this and have not finished but I didn't want you to think that I wasn't reading at all. My mother is making me read it with her because she is not too good at the whole working the computer thing.

I just love reading your trip reports. You have inspired me to go to MVMCP. We went on hour honeymoon 8 years ago, so I wasn't going to do it again. But then I didn't stop to smell the roses, so I am thinking of doing it again.
I am also going to be staying at AKV Concierge in Dec. I will be celebrating my 60th birthday (which was in May). So I am loving the pictures and information you are sharing. Thanks so very much.

Well, after seeing the above, I was ANGRY! #1 I don't think any parent should be having a conversation with their children especially if the child is STILL in DIAPERS. #2 That child could have REALLY been hurt. I was sick of this site. So . . . I gave my bag to my Mother, stood up, picked up the child and sat him down in the seat, and then returned to my seat. My Mother and that child were both STUNNED! I then braced myself for some outrage from the Mother. After all, a strange Black woman had just handled her White child . . . So what did I hear? What happened you ask? "OH thank you so much . . . you have a wet bottom now though". You see, the seat had a little bit of water in it. BUT HE IS A DIAPER-WEARING TODDLER! When the woman next to us heard her say that, she said something like, "better a wet bottom then to fall down and hurt himself". THANK YOU!

That is awesome! Good for you for making sure that little child didn't get hurt. That mother has some issues. The rest of the day sounds like so much fun too. Your mother is a hoot!

I've been saying it - there is just something about THAT MOUSE that contains the answer to world peace and everything else that's wrong in the world. The leaders of the nations around the world need to figure that out - just think of all the money we can all save just by getting along . But seriously, isn't it amazing how so many people from everywhere in the world, from all walks of life, can come together with this common thread and not just get along, but in many cases become friends (and like an extended family, thank you very much). There certainly is still magic in the Magic Kingdom, and we all need to take just a touch of it back with us to our "real" worlds. Ya know, I betcha that could make even our everyday lives better.

So glad to hear that you enjoyed the halloween party. I went for the first time last year and loved it. I'm not usually a parade person (other than Spectromagic) and was surprised how much I loved the halloween parade. That song was stuck in my head for days afterwards!

My next trip is going to be next December, so while I can't wait to see the Christmas decorations, I'm a bit dissappointed I'll be missing the halloween stuff!

Glendamax, you are such a brave solder. First you risk you life by picking up some stranger’s child and placing him in a seat. Then you took flash photos on Snow Whites Scary Adventures and risk getting yelled at by a CM. Then you ride Splash Mountain by yourself (I always have to have someone to hold onto, even a stranger will do).

Soon, it was time for the drop. Why oh Why was I doing this? I think it's this crazy DISboards CULT! As the log tipped over the top, I peaked out at the park before ducking my head and trying to make myself disappear. Before I knew it, the drop was OVER! And my stomach did NOT drop! How is this possible! The drop was just fast and a bit noisey! You mean I have been afraid to ride this since 1983 and it isnt bad? Well, at least I got to find out for myself! Now for some Victory Pics! ("I am woman hear me roar . . . ")

I am SO proud of you!!!!

Hopefully Dawn and I were the ones to 'push you over the edge' to ride that ride!!!
