We just got ours today! Man's #63/1000 and Lady's #351/1000. I called Hilton Head on Monday, and they were out of them, but said to check back that afternoon as they were expecting a shipment. I then called Vero Beach and they had them in stock and sent them right out. Shipping by UPS was about $15. They look great, and we are looking forward to wearing them to the F&WF this October.

We're new members and I was going to wait for our Sept 15th trip home (SSR), but wasn't sure they would have any, so I ordered from Vero Beach last weekend. His #482 & Hers #340!

We're praying for safety for all in Florida this weekend!

I have Men's #308, and Mrs. Baboo has #266.

We extended our stay from BCV until Monday to ride out Frances, and they found us a great room in the Yacht Club overlooking the water, facing the Boardwalk. We asked about the DVC watches in "Fittings & Fairings," and they told us they had just gotten a few in at "Atlantic Wear" back at the Beach Club. I hustled back over and voila!!------- we had our watches.

I ordered mine from OKW and just got it a few days ago. I have a women's #275.

Just ended our shortened trip to BWV with a 9-hour rental car ride home today instead of our plane flight on 9/8. Didn't think our 3 and 4 year-olds would have fun cooped up for 2 days. CM's certainly didn't need another family to entertain either.

The best surprise was that I purchased the lowest numbered watch so far on the board!
I got the #40 ladies watch at BWV right before they closed yesterday.
My men's was #476.

Looking at the list of numbers, it makes me think that they are holding out the lowest numbered watches (and the ones over #500) for the later shipments. My guess is that the bottom 10-20 numbers will be the last ones to ship to the stores, but I could be wrong.

Good luck to everyone riding it out on-site. I now realize that two good days at Disney is still better than a week anywhere else.

I called OKW and HH and neither had watches. I called VB 2 days ago and they sold me one, but they were not sure when they could send it. It may get a little wet tonight!

Just wondering where I should start my search when visiting in a little less than a month.

Our watches arrived today from Vero...guess they made it out before Frances arrived.

Looks like a new low number for the Men's watch I got # 66.

My wife's watch is #325.

I can't wait for her to get home from work today!

We honeymooned at OKW 10 years ago this summer. This year we couldn't get back there because of the fact that Kathy is carrying our second daughter, and we moved into a new house in June.

I had wanted to celebrate our 10th anniversary back at OKW with another amazing dinner at V&As, but that had to be put off.

When I saw these watches I thought they would make a great belated 10th anniversary present.

Thanks for all the help in tracking two of them down... it'll help keep the magic going until we can get back "home" some time next year.

It's been a long 2 1/2 weeks, but they finally came first thing this morning UPS! I ordered from BWV, but had to fax them a copy of my DVC membership card. Anyway, ladies #162 and men's # 478.

Well we had an adventure that has ended successfully. After reading about the frenzy about getting these watches I got it in my head that I had to get one for my wife. Called WL several times with no luck (got shunted to mail order, hang ups, etc.) Then I emailed Member Services. Member Services gave me Old Key West's phone number and suggested I call there. No luck, but the lady suggested I call MS again. I did and got a terrific young lady whose name I forgot (!). She put me on hold. After several minutes she gave me the number to BW, after having called all the DVC's. Said I could fax info to them and obtain one. Called, got a nice young lady. who verified it. SO, I did fax my member card and my VISA card with a cover letter. That was over a week ago. SO Monday I called BW again. They checked and said they had no record of my request. That makes me a little nervous in that I had faxed my VISA number too (but that seems to be ok so far). They explained that the Frances furor might have gotten in the way of the process.

This young lady took my VISA over the phone and merely asked for a fax of my Member Card. Did that. And it was fed exed today. Got # 34!. Need to take a link out but otherwise we are quite pleased.

There's gotta be a better way but once again I do compliment the folks at Disney.

I don't know what I am doing wrong but called MS- told not possible. So I called the gift shops of BWV and OKW and was told that they were out and had called around the other resorts for a guest and none were available; even if available could not purchase over the phone, only in person. I swear I was friendly and tried to let them know people were faxing in cards to allow the shipping of the watches, but it was a no go.
My question- is there a procedure for the call to get the watches (when available)? A certain person to call? A special number? A certain anything?!

I had no problem getting mine with a phone call to the gift shop at Vero Beach. They simply asked for my DVC # and my CC #. They sent it out UPS (~$15 for two wathces), and I got them within a week.
