I’ve seen times they don’t have it in stock, the $50 off seems to be their standard deal.

So I placed an order at Home Depot for in store pickup for something that was on sale using 5 Home Depot gift cards. Before I had a chance to go pick it up, the item became available at a Home Depot store closer to me, so I canceled it to reorder at the Home Depot that was closer. After cancellation, they immediately issued an estore credit for the full amount in one gift card. So that is a way if anyone ever needs to combine multiple Home Depot gift cards into one gift card.

One thing to realize is that when the estore credit gift card came it had a $0 balance and it took around 4 days before the actual money was put back on them estore credit gift card. I had to actually call them and they told me it takes 3 - 5 days for the money to go back on, you would think they would actually put that in the email instead of just sending a gift card with $0 balance and have every person in the world call them to find out why the refund has a $0 balance. I mean, this is the actual email they sent:

If I were running Home Depot, I would set this up so that you try to receive the eGift card and instead you receive a message along the lines of "We apologize, but technical difficulties have delayed our issuance of your $0 gift card. We expect to be able to send your $0 gift card within the next 6 to 8 weeks. We appreciate your patience and trust you will enjoy spending $0 at Home Depot. Thanks for being our customer."

Same for me. I didn’t use any of them. I had a birthday reward 5% off that I used for an iron & hand vacuum about 10 days ago. I used built up rewards credits to pay for that order.
