If it's the $10 reward on $80 then yes it works on DGC, they aren't excluded in the terms. The offers that are a dollar off your order not reward do not work on DGC.

Anyone have issues with using the $15 coupon that this deal generates? I used one yesterday and two today, at two different Safeway stores, and all just rang up as 1 cent off and required a manager to come override and manually give us $15 off.

When I was going through the different states for Albertsons and Safeway, I thought it unusual Oregon was the only one with the gift card ad. I even double checked digital coupons but found only Topgolf, Sony PlayStation, Fandango and one offer for 4x . Very regional.

Rubio’s Coastal Grill Files For Bankruptcy Again; What To Do With Rubio’s Gift Cards

Rubio’s Coastal Grill filed for bankruptcy again on Wednesday June 5, 2024. They also closed 48 restaurants in California, about 1/3 of their previous total, leaving only 104 locations. Reports state that laid off employees are discovering that their final checks are bouncing, so things don’t look good.

If you have any Rubio’s gift cards, I’d highly recommend redeeming or reselling them as soon as you can. Filing for bankruptcy doesn’t affect your ability to redeem their gift cards, but it sounds like they’re in severe financial difficulties and with them shutting stores abruptly, there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use them at a restaurant near you on an ongoing basis. We ran into the same situation with Macaroni Grill and TGI Fridays, both restaurants closed down and DS still had gift cards. I ended up mailing them to our DIS friend. The restaurants were still open in her neighborhood.

Wow that was fast! Glad I don’t have any gc’s for them, just ate there last week and ours is now among the closed (although we weren’t happy with the quality anyway).

Employees checks are bouncing?! What a crappy outfit. If I had a gc and an open location I’d literally be there for dinner tonight to burn those gc’s.

ETA- I’m shocked they’re bouncing paychecks in CA. CA does not put up with that crap, I had to double check but the fine payable to the employee is a days pay per day you don’t get paid up to 30 days and it’s a misdemeanor to not pay employees…

I’m in the Portland, Oregon area and I had the same trouble trying to use the $15 coupon this morning. The cashier ended up taking the coupon and her scanner to the manager’s office and when she returned the $15 was showing on the register display. I sure hope they fix this soon. I have two more to use and planned to get a couple more before it ends. Stocking up on Uber and a couple of Disney GC for our November DLR trip.

This implies I know what it means or how to do I will certainly try! I’ve never paid any attention to points because I don’t drive, but I’ve clipped all of them in the app as a test (please correct me if I’ve misunderstood the points system as just for gas. will be forever championing public transport and bikeshare rewards).
