I spent $1000 on 2 Disney gift cards, and they gave me a single Hy-Vee gift card with $200 loaded.

I bought $2000 worth of Disney gift cards and $200 of Apple gift cards. I got 4 $100 Hy-Vee gift cards and 1 $40 Hy-Vee gift card. I wish they would have given me one $200 card for each $1000 order (I made 2 $1000 and 1 $200 purchase) but it was hard enough to convince the clerk to not give me 10 $20 gift cards!

In re: the HyVee deal - I saw someone post on SD that you can use your HyVee gift cards to purchase 3rd party gift cards. Is that correct?

My IHG Chase card has 10% back at Office Depot. Unfortunately Dosh has 10%, but only on Visa cards, my Southwest does not have the offer. There is a 10% back on Southwest Visa for Sams (online only), but to $24. I may wait and see if Rakuten comes back for Cyber Monday for Sams.

Sams club had their Disney card deal a few weeks ago. BJs still had theirs available when I checked yesterday. Those are the only major discounts I know of. Disney never discounts them. Not sure where else you are thinking might.

Early last month, my 1st Sams DGC purchase through Rakuten credited for 10%, so I did 10 times the amount. That didn't track, and after about 4 weeks, the first purchase was clawed back. I'm still fighting with them.

Don't feel too bad that you do not have an Office Depot offer an a Visa card. I did not have a cashback offer for Office Depot but I used a Visa card to purchase 2 gc's yesterday. I activated the Dosh offer and received a message thanking me for my purchase but so far no money is showing up. My purchase at Big Lots for items received the money the same day. I knew it was a gamble that I might not receive anything from Dosh but the gc's I purchased will give me $20 in Office Depot Rewards so it is okay.

I'm in need of a discount on a Paramount + gift card to renew an annual subscription, hopefully something a little better than the Sam's meager discount. Last year I got a 20% card from Best Buy, but that's unlikely this year with the whole rewards change.

I don't know if you found something yet but my annual P+ subscription set to expire today.
Last night I went to cancel and got 50% off another year if I renew. I went through Rakuten got
4.50 off then used my Amex offer for 11 dollars off. So another year of Paramount plus WITH
Showtime for $44. I think it is ad free plan or very limited as I watched a couple of movies last night
and got 1 movie trailer in the beginning and that was it.

Has anyone had trouble using a Visa gift card to purchase a DGC on ShopDisney? I just tried inputting the card # directly and it gives me an error. I also tried loading the Visa in Paypal, but got an error too. I checked the vanilla gift card site and it has the $ on the card so not sure why I'm getting an error both ways.

I’m trying to understand the basics of using Disney e-gift cards.

Here’s what I’ve done:

1. Bought a Disney egift card from Target online.
2. Received the egift card email from Target, which had a link to the web page with the card info.
3. Entered the numbers from the webpage into disneygiftcard.com
4. Printed out the web page because I’m paranoid.
5. Saved a copy of the PDF to my iCloud files.

Here are my questions:

1. Are the only ways to actually use the card in person (say at a Disney store, hotel, or restaurant) to have either the paper printout, bring up the PDF from my iCloud files on my phone, or buy a physical plastic card and transfer the funds to it?
2. Is there any way to retrieve the full number and pin from disneygiftcard.com? Any way to get the bar code? Or am I pretty much responsible for keeping my own copies?
3. Is there any way to transfer the card info to my Apple Wallet?
4. Bonus (Target) question: Is the only way to get the card info from Target to keep the email with the link to their website?
5. Any options I’ve missed?
