Target Circle REWARD: Various offers
  • Yes, works on Specialty Gift Cards including Disney.
  • Expires 9/22/23. Post #18662 :thumbsup2 @grumpy28
I don’t shop at Target very much (mostly just use the Red Card to buy Disney GCs), so I’m not familiar with the Circle Rewards even though I belong. Yesterday I noticed I received this offer, for me it’s buy $120 X 2, get $30. Would that be $30 I could spend at Target? And could I use it toward Disney GCs? (If not, I have a new baby granddaughter I could spend it on! 😁)

You spend Circle Rewards on things at Target similar to spending cash but Circle Rewards are not valid on gift cards.

PayPal question: I do not usually use PayPal, but decided to log in this morning and saw there is a 10% cash back offer for ShopDisney. The terms say certain items are excluded, but does not say what those items are. Does anyone know if this offer will for DGC purchases? Thank you.

If you click where it says exclusions, there is a long winded explanation how they can’t verify what is eligible until after you complete your purchase. But the very last line says applies to most items except gift cards and d23 memberships.

Target offer- 4 purchases of $130 to get $30 back.

That’s $520 to get $30 for 5.6%. I guess with the 5% off dis gift cards it’s not horrible but still.

Kind of bummed ;(. They don’t give me good target circle offers anymore. Not sure why.

First off Congrats on the addition.
Second you can make two purchases of $125 each of Disney gift cards as Target only sells fixes denominations. You will get your 5% off and then you will be able to use the Target circle $30 money for your new addition to the family as that will not work on Disney gift cards.

What is a “good” deal for discounted Disney gift cards? 10% off? 15%? What’s your target?

Personally for me, any discount is better than none. I usually am happy with BJs which is about 6% I think. I don’t know of anyplace that does straight 15% off. I think those getting that much is thru stacking with a credit card offer or some like that.

Since I can get 5% at Target whenever, I aim for 10% not counting credit card points.

I think I’d have to buy $150 in DGC, wouldn’t I, because $125 DGC minus the 5% Red Card discount is only $118.75? If they’ll spot me the $1.25 to make my $120 minimum, that would be wonderful!
