Re: Kroger
I just don't know what I'd do with all those fuel points beyond what I currently have for January which is 2995. I'm not even done grocery shopping.

They have a PetSmart gc offer online, which I would have done however they recently BLOCKED my account from booking online grooming for both my pups. Their response, more time is needed for large dogs and by calling we can see what we have available.

Anyone else get blocked?

I haven't had Sherlock groomed (hair cut or trim) in a year.
Watson has never been groomed at PetSmart.
The only appointments I've made is for nail grind for both pups and Watson to get his fur washed & brushed. Not sure what game PetSmart is playing but they're not the only game in town.
And I still can't use my GC online.

I have a question about using a particular cashback portal for Target. Having just signed up at topcashback, I then tried to "portal out" to target.com but all that got me was a page to purchase Target gift cards. There wasn't any way to get to the page for the Disney GC that I wanted. I had the impression that the portal would send me to Target's website pretty much the same as if I had surfed there directly. (Sorry if I am doing something patently wrong, I am not good with this stuff but thought I'd try to add a little to my redcard's base 5% off.)

A lot of the time when I have searched for Target the only option with Top Cashback is to purchase Target GC's on their site. I have not found many options recently to get cashback on actual online purchases from Target.

One of the best deals at Sam's is on the Instacart Gift Cards (if you use Instacart).... $199 for a $250 card.

Do you know if there's a way to use a gift card along with one of the chase cards that has an instacart discount? I get $15 a month for using a card, but I think I'd have to put at least $15 on my credit card and pay the remainder with the gift card. Is that possible?

PetSmart BLOCKING my pups from Grooming Services :confused3
This is what my account now looks like for 2023 and we've been going for a year and half without issues.

STUPID!

Stopped using them and petco based off incorrect info I was told, their attitudes and their lack of fully expressing the glands which was what he was going for. Pay more for the vet to do it. Don't think they are as well trained at either store as an actual grooming place. I know it's nice to save via gc but I would find somewhere else.

So I just recently figured out that while no local Shell stations are part of the Kroger fuel rewards thing, there are 2 that my husband stops at frequently. He drives about 700 miles a week so he goes thru some fuel! I’m going to have to pay more attention to the Kroger deals.

@AmyMac1109 @FoxC63 thanks for the coverage on the Sam's Club membership deal. My membership expired last week and the StackSocial offer is really timely. I paid the $24.99 for the code and also activated the RMN $10 offer, but when I went to fill in information for a new membership using a different email account and pasted the StackSocial activation code, it said I am getting Instant Savings and took $50 off the membership instead of me paying $25! So I just want to report back on my experience for others considering a membership. I don't know if it's a YMMV thing, so only do it if you are prepared to pay $25 for the membership in case the Instant Savings doesn't apply.

Glad I could help out!

And I think that's how it's supposed to work. You pay $24.99 at Stack Social to get a code worth $50 toward the new membership. You have instant savings at Sams Club in the amount of $50, but you paid $24.99 to Stack Social. So the membership cost $24.99. Unless I misunderstood your comment?

Duh, you're right...so excited to see the $0 and totally forgot the $25 paid. Will delete my post.

Ah, so it wasn't my fault (for a change). A tough break as I have been sniffing around for a deal on a Disney gift card that I can then use to purchase a theme-park ticket for upcoming March trip. Will have to keep looking.

Definitely taking care of pups at home now however, the whole nail cutting freaks me out because they have black toe nails and I'm afraid I'll overcut. :scared:

Watson started the butt scoot a few days ago so I added a homemade pumpkin & oatmeal treat to his lunch and 1/8 tsp. of kelp powder in his dinner. Fixed the scooting and 1674255086225.png, Vet recommended.

There are a few deals going on right now at Kroger & Family.

Did you see Post #1 Disney Gift Card Deals ONLY

Lol, I get excited by deals too!

Also, I just got an e-mail from RMN saying they tracked my purchase. $10 is pending in my account. We'll see in if it pays out.
They should payout for that. ::yes::

I still don't understand shopping for groceries online with store pickup at Kroger. I specifically requested no substitutions and yet they hold up my order to make suggestions for products I don't want. Why? Crazy!

When I go to pickup my order I'm going to step inside and ask CS if I can use the $8 off two $100 Visa/MC offer I still have. Don't really need the gas points but I believe we can still ask them to transfer them over to the following month (February) when it comes time.

I didn’t know you could transfer the fuel points. I know points earned in one month are good that month and expire at the end of the next month.

Nails are a vet tech appt at my vet. Quick and easy for them to do it. Prob a bit more than elsewhere but just easier. I'm generally out in less than 15 min and they love my dog, was dogs. Which is also why I'll keep going, I was worried for Tux first nail appt after we put dude down since that was the last time he'd been there but it was all ok. I don't want him to see the place as bad and that's how dude ended up with petco/smart.

We are very lucky to have a groomer at Petsmart that knows how to groom a golden correctly and does a great job each time. She does everything except for her nails which we grind ourselves each week. My hubs learned how to do it from watching a few youtube videos and its been awesome not having to bring her in somewhere to get them done.
