Yeah I never pay via Magicband and almost exclusively pay by gift card because of that inconvenience of going to the front desk to apply gift cards and the worry that they will charge your card and then it might take awhile to have them fix it.

I've just gotten in the habit of having multiple gift cards in smaller amounts and using a marker and writing a number on each one (that corresponds to its label on the disneygiftcard.com website). Then keeping just 1 gift card handy. Worst case scenario, if I lose that gift card, I know which number it is and can try to move the amount via disneygiftcard.com to another card. *knock on wood* I haven't lost a card yet.

I would not store GCs on the website. People have had their accounts hacked and the GCs drained. And then, good luck recovering your money! You're better off keeping a log of your GCs somewhere on your phone and then using the website to transfer those balances to a physical GC in your possession. It's a couple of extra steps but I do it before I head to the parks each day.

Can you go back to your Sam's and Best Buy account order history to see if the basic information is there? Usually a link to click on and the info is there.

I just checked both my accounts to be sure and no links. If you have permanently deleted the emails, I think you'll have to contact both to re-send the emails.

I have seen a link before in past orders to send the gift cards to another email from within the order history. You can also try egift.samsclub.com. Edit: I've never ordered from Best Buy.

The marker bit was especially helpful (and I, too, was worried about losing a card but knew I felt okay if I could transfer things). I do wish the website let you transfer particular amounts. There was a time my kids wanted to split the purchase of a toy and I asked if I could use multiple cards to pay for it (the CM said yes and then the purchase came off the one card). From there on out, it became frustrating/difficult to remember one kid had overpaid by 19 dollars, lol

Yeah lol, one year I gave my kids $100 each to spend on whatever they wanted at the parks (toys, snacks, etc) and the exact same thing happened. Lesson learned for me, 2 separate transactions!
