Just picked up my boy! Dang, he looks good!

When the manager came to the register, hands on hips, you know the posture. I said let's go over here away from other people. I handed her the original receipt and very calmly relayed what I was told earlier. She agreed right away, you cannot charge more for services when a package is prepaid. Then took the receipt into the salon to find out what was going on. She came out and said you don't owe anything and offered me a $10 gc for my trouble which I declined.
Just saying, I thanked her for her time and wished her a good day. She took in a deep breath and wished me the same. I swear she was almost in tears, you could see it in her eyes relieved I wasn't another Karen.

FYI - PetSmart has increased their prices in their salon and have created more categories for dogs. I don't know if this has happened in your neck of the woods, so be sure to check it out. :dog:

My most recent raise purchase through TCB on 10/15 hasnt tracked so this time I went thru Rakuten. I wonder if I hit a lifetime limit with Raise or something? There were times when Riase would be 10% on TCB and I took advantage!
TopCashback lists a lifelong total limit of $5000 spent on Raise.

I remember when these sales were almost monthly and TopCashBack would regularly have 5-10%, and I’d often get just over 15% off total. Unfortunately as cashbackmonitor shows that for the past year they’ve been at 2% cash back. Basically since the pandemic, Raise has been a little disappointing with some signs of life lately.

Ugh! I purchased $250 from Raise today using PayPal (Chase Freedom preferred payment) to check out planning to get another 5% off. It charged my Discover It card. :confused3 I guess 7% isn’t bad…

I have a sams club membership and I am considering doing the 500 for 450 deals but I leave for Disney the next day. I have a fear with it being an e gift card and their website being over run I could not get the email in time for the trip. Legit fear?

I would still try to get the order placed. Once you arrive you can seal the deal at Disney gift card site. Just make sure you know your password and delete the email. You should be good to go!

Or you could have a family member place the order for you. I know, it opens a whole new chapter but no one knows your family better than you.

@FoxC63 I am bringing my golden to get groomed this Saturday. It'll be interesting to see if her Petsmart has been hit with a price increase. She's already costing close to $85 for a bath, brush, and groom. We love her groomer who really knows how to groom goldens so I can't complain too much.

I was actually a little late picking up Sherlock, I went to the bank to take out cash for our trip and the groomer. Anyway, she did an amazing job, so she got a sweet tip and was very surprised by it. She was the person who told me it would be $50 extra. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again.

Anyone know about this company?
TSA is run by the government, Department of Homeland Security, who is @Clear? And what do they do with your personal information?

Any leads or hints on discounts on Amazon gift cards? I'd like to purchase one for my trainer at the gym and realized that I haven't seen them pop up on this thread too often/at all. Or have I just not noticed them?
Best lead I have is that sometimes they pop up on Chase Offers for Amazon Books. If you have an Amazon Books and a Chase card, that is. It's usually 10% off, max 6, but I've gotten it multiple times. I have two Chase cards (Freedom and Southwest Airlines) so I usually buy $60 on each.

I remember those days too. I need to try another small purchase and see if it tracks with Raise. Pretty sure I haven't spent $5,000 there.

I will point out the egift cards are not sent immediately, usually within 24 hours but more like 12.

Clear is a private company. You go through a dedicated line to verify your identity (using biometrics), but then join the regular line to check your bags. I don't think it saves a lot of time. Pre-check has its own ID check and bag check lines, and you don't have to take off your shoes or remove liquids/laptops/electronics from your bags, so it's much faster. It's also much cheaper. We have it and love it.

You can actually combine it with precheck and skip that line as well. Generally not needed, but there are some airports/times of day where it would save time. There's also some credit cards that offer a credit for clear.

Some stadiums/arenas use it as well, can get you in quicker there too.
