I've looked but not quite found it (and maybe it doesn't exist). Is there a good rule of thumb for how would be a wise amount to get (in gift cards). For example - I'm going to WDW in January '22 for about a week with 2 kids (9 and 5). I rented DVC points and I think (but will double-check) that I'll buy tickets
not from Disney (I'm about to do the math to see). So, I'd be paying for food, souvenirs, and whatever Disney mouscellaneous comes up (if FP becomes a charged thing, or whatever). The transportation to/from the airport (whether shuttle or Uber/Lyft) won't count, nor would things like housekeeping gratuity).
So - what's a reasonable amount to have in GC? I do know that I can save them for later use/
shopDisney, etc. I am traveling in Sept by myself - so I'll get a little feel for it (and I totally recognize that my own style of travel/spending is very different than with two kiddos who've never been).
(I ask all of this because right now my card is giving me 5% back on grocery store purchases, which includes Disney Gift Cards (and then I get extra fuel rewards when I buy gift cards and it's a nice moment to take advantage of).
