Yes, it qualifies if the purchase is $50 before discounts.

Ugh. Mine is 2 purchases of $125 and I get $25 back. But, I assume I can buy 2 $125 gift cards in 2 purchases and qualify. It comes out to a 15% savings which is OK I guess.

Do you have a red card? It will save you another 5%. Right now Target has a promotion to get $40 off a future qualifying purchase of $40 or more when you are approved. Also, go through RMN to save another 1-2%, depending what the offer is.

Can someone guide me to getting a "discount" by paying for GF resort stay with Disney gift card?
I am tempted to cancel May trip and rebook for Aug with Disney plus offer (25%!), though I don't really want to.

Right now I have $100/night offer for May which is not great. If I can figure out how to get another 5% off, I guess I can live with missing out on the summer discount and sticking with my plans.

I have the Target credit card. Can I buy one large Disney gift card and get 5% off that, to then use to pay for the whole stay? I know I won't be good at juggling a bunch of smaller cards. My balance for 6 nights is about 4k. So this will save $200, or a little over $30 per night.

Will this work? If not, any other suggestions? Thank you!

For such a large purchase with Target Red Card, first check what your credit limit is. If it is below $4K, then you will need multiple transactions. After you made your first purchase, immediately pay off the full balance, wait a few days and make your second purchase. Rinse and repeat.

Yes, you can read off the DGC numbers over the phone to them. Try to consolidate the gift card denominations if each is under $1K on disneygiftcard dot com website so there are fewer cards for you to read and for them to process over the phone. Remember to keep the phsyical gift cards and delete the cards on the website after you finish consolidating for security purposes.

Yes. It always has for me. They don't know what you're buying. It's just a purchase that hits your credit card. They don't see the items on your receipt or anything. In fact, I just got home from picking up my $110 DGC. I'm always happy with a 10% discount.
